Continuing Education Program for Regional Practitioners: in Regard to the Case of Department of Otolaryngology, Yongdong Severance Hospital

ABSTRACT
This program was started on 21st April, 1983 having the three-fold purposes : refreshment of knowledge, settlement of patient-referral system, cultivation of mutual friendships in the region of southern part of Seoul. It was held at every Thursday morning. In every school year, 28 hours of lecture took place under the auspices of department. The subjects of education were composed mainly of their special field. otolaryngology especially for the recent trends and progress of patient care. The number of participating physicians was 77 and they were proud of its usefulness and accomplishment.
