The Korean Journal of Medical Education was established in 1989 by the Korean Society of Medical Education, and all the contents of the journal have been written in English since 2016. KJME accepts original research articles, short communications, reviews, case reports, editorials, book reviews, teaching materials, and other invited papers on undergraduate, graduate, and continuous professional development in healthcare professional education.
The Journal is published quarterly each year in March, June, September, and December. Supplemental issues are published when necessary. The official title of the journal is the ‘Korean Journal of Medical Education’ and the abbreviated title is ‘Korean J Med Educ.’ All submitted manuscripts are peer-reviewed by three reviewers. The whole manuscript has been required to be written in English since the first issue of 2016. Some, or all, of the articles in this journal are indexed in KCI, KoreaMed, KoMCI, MEDLINE/PubMed, PubMed Central, KISS, WPRIM, EBSCO, DOI/Crossref, ScienceCentral, and Google Scholar. Manuscripts should be submitted via the e-submission system (http://submit.kjme.kr). The URL address of the Society is http://ksmed.or.kr. The URL address of the Journal is http://kjme.kr, where full manuscripts are available. The journal is supported by the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies Grant which is funded by the Korean Government (MEST).
